ly/MinderaHandbook Our offices are located: Aveiro, Portugal | Porto, Portugal | Leicester, UK | San Diego, USA | San Francisco, USA | Chennai, India | Bengaluru, India Key Responsibilities Design and develop core gameplay systems using Cocos2d-x (C++) or related Cocos frameworks Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and production teams to deliver high-quality game features Optimize mobile applications for performance (CPU, memory, rendering, battery usage) Monitor client performance and ensure stability in live environments Build and enhance tools and workflows for designers and artists Develop and maintain reusable, scalable, and extensible systems Ensure code quality through best practices, debugging, and mentoring Contribute to continuous improvements in live service games Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience 4+ years of experience in C++ / Java (Android) / Objective-C (iOS) development Hands-on experience with Cocos2d-x or similar game development frameworks Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and component-based architecture Experience with mobile performance optimization Familiarity with REST APIs / backend integrations Experience with version control tools like Git or Perforce Strong debugging and problem-solving skills Understanding of live service environments and change management practices Good communication skills Good to Have Experience with Lua, Protobuf Exposure to AI, pathfinding, UI systems, or online gameplay Passion for gaming and game development
