Your New Role


As a Medical Advisor I at Novo Nordisk, you will be the scientific ambassador for your product/portfolio, translating clinical insight into strategic, evidence-based medical activities that drive patient outcomes and business goals. You will collaborate across medical, commercial, regulatory and external stakeholders to shape and communicate scientific value while ensuring the highest ethical and compliance standards.


Key responsibilities:


  • Act as therapy-area expert (in diabetes, cardio-metabolics or rare disease as applicable) and maintain competitive knowledge.
  • Operationalize medico‑marketing activities aligned with Medical Affairs strategy.
  • Build and maintain relationships with KOLs, HCPs and professional bodies.
  • Help in driving generation and dissemination of RWE and clinical data; identify publication opportunities.
  • Support clinical and regulatory operations (site selection, recruitment, SEC submissions).
  • Provide medical expertise and answer product-related queries.
  • Deliver medical training and support product launches with marketing/regulatory teams.

You bring scientific credibility, medical affairs or clinical experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to ethical, compliant practices.


Your Skills and Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:


  • MD (preferred) or MBBS with at least 2 years’ experience in Medical Affairs or medico‑marketing
  • Demonstrated expertise in the relevant therapy area and product portfolio (diabetes, cardio-metabolic or rare disease as applicable).
  • Proven experience in medico‑marketing activities, evidence generation or scientific communications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to present complex data clearly.
  • Excellent stakeholder‑management and relationship‑building capabilities (KOLs, HCPs, cross‑functional teams).
  • Collaborative team player with high integrity and adherence to compliance standards.

 Preferred:


  • Medical affairs experience in the relevant therapy area with strong KOL engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Commitment to compliance, ethics and patient-centred scientific advocacy.
