Job description

Scope Of Work  


  • Lead engineering activities for mechanical equipment packages such as platform cranes, EOT cranes, freshwater maker packages, seawater intake pumps, diesel generators, compressors, pumps, piping, HVAC, and auxiliary mechanical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with European codes, PED, CE marking requirements, and offshore certification standards including DNV, IEC, and EN.
  • Develop, review, and validate technical specifications, datasheets, and design documentation for mechanical packages.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, fabricators, and certification bodies to ensure adherence to PED and CE compliance requirements.
  • Oversee the integration of mechanical packages into offshore wind structures including turbines, substations, and foundations.
  • Support risk assessments, FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and mechanical safety studies.
  • Manage interface requirements between mechanical packages and electrical/control systems for smooth system integration.
  • Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on mechanical package design, reliability, operational efficiency, and sustainability.

Technical Competency 


  • Sound knowledge of international standards and codes including European standards, PED, CE marking requirements, and offshore certification standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in quality management for EPCIC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation, and Commissioning) projects.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
