Design and develop mechanical systems for enclosure structures, including the payload integration platforms and mechanisms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define mechanical requirements and integrate subsystems into the overall system design.
Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and other simulations to evaluate the structural integrity of designs against operational loads.
Develop and maintain detailed design documentation, including CAD models, assemblies, and technical specifications.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
1+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within the aerospace or satellite industry.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.
g., Siemens NX, SolidWorks) for 3D modeling and mechanical design.
Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) tools (e.
g., Calculix, PrePoMax) for structural evaluation and optimization.
In-depth knowledge of materials used in aerospace applications and the ability to select appropriate materials based on thermal and mechanical requirements.
Familiarity with environmental testing standards for space applications, including thermal vacuum testing, vibration testing, and shock testing.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to design challenges.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
