Role Overview

The Engineer / Sr. Engineer – QA/QC will be responsible for monitoring and implementing quality control procedures for assigned tower(s) at the construction site. The role involves ensuring that all construction activities are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.


The candidate will work closely with civil execution teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure proper quality control across structural works, reinforcement, formwork systems, finishing works, and MEP installations.


Key ResponsibilitiesSite Quality Inspections
  • Conduct regular quality inspections at various stages of construction for assigned tower(s).


  • Ensure works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.


  • Monitor quality compliance for structural works, reinforcement, formwork, finishing, and MEP activities.


Inspection & Testing Implementation
  • Ensure implementation of Inspection and Testing Plans (ITP) for construction activities.


  • Verify reinforcement checks, formwork alignment, concrete works, finishing works, and MEP installations before approvals.


  • Monitor material testing and field test procedures.


Material Quality Verification
  • Ensure materials used at site meet approved specifications and standards.


  • Verify material test reports, inspection records, and certifications including concrete cube tests and steel test reports.


Non-Conformance & Corrective Actions
  • Identify quality deviations and non-conformance issues during site inspections.


  • Assist in raising Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and follow up for corrective actions.


  • Ensure timely rectification of quality issues at work fronts.


Coordination with Site Teams
  • Coordinate with civil engineers, tower incharges, and subcontractors to maintain quality standards.


  • Ensure proper sequencing of activities to maintain construction quality and workmanship.


  • Support execution teams in resolving quality-related issues.


Consultant Inspections
  • Assist in coordinating consultant and client inspections for assigned work fronts.


  • Ensure readiness of work areas for quality approvals and inspections.


  • Address consultant observations and ensure closure.


Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain records of inspection checklists, quality reports, material approvals, and test results.


  • Prepare daily inspection reports and quality monitoring reports for assigned towers.


  • Maintain proper documentation for quality audits and compliance.


Technical Skills Required
  • Strong knowledge of construction quality standards and inspection procedures


  • Experience in quality control for high-rise building construction


  • Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings


  • Familiarity with inspection and testing procedures for construction materials


  • Proficiency in MS Excel and quality documentation
