DESCRIPTION:
The Application Specialist is responsible for the functional configuration and support of the Maximo application. This role ensures that the system is configured to meet business requirements and that it effectively supports core business processes.
They work closely with business users to translate requirements into system configurations, including workflows, domains, and application settings. The Application Specialist validates system functionality through testing, supports user adoption, and provides ongoing functional support to maintain system effectiveness and continuous improvement.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of hands-on Maximo functional experience
• Strong knowledge of Maximo modules (Work, Asset, Inventory, Procurement)
• Experience configuring workflows, domains, security groups, and UI
• Experience with testing (unit testing, UAT)
• Ability to translate business requirements into system configurations
• Strong troubleshooting and user support skills
