Eram Talent is looking for a talented and experienced Materials & Corrosion Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia.
This role is particularly focused on Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects within the oil and gas sector.
As a Materials & Corrosion Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the selection and use of the appropriate materials while developing effective corrosion prevention strategies throughout the lifecycle of EPC projects.
Key Responsibilities Evaluate and select materials for various applications in EPC projects.
Develop and implement corrosion management plans and protocols.
Conduct detailed corrosion assessments and material inspections.
Specify and analyze coating systems and cathodic protection methods.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure material specifications meet project requirements.
Prepare and review technical documents, reports, and project specifications.
Participate in project risk assessments related to materials and corrosion.
Stay updated with industry best practices and regulations.
Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in materials and corrosion engineering, preferably in EPC projects.
Strong understanding of corrosion mechanisms and prevention methods.
Experience with material selection criteria and testing methodologies.
Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations governing materials and corrosion.
NACE certification is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to travel within Saudi Arabia for project site visits.
