The opportunity:
The Planning Scheduler – IKC is responsible for end‑to‑end master job scheduling, material planning, and execution support for the Insulation Kit Center at Halol. The role ensures smooth conversion of planned demand into executable production orders, timely material availability, optimized inventory levels, and adherence to delivery commitments. The position plays a critical role in enabling stable shop‑floor execution, improved OTIF, and controlled working capital.
How you’ll make an impact:
Prepare and manage detailed production schedules for IKC operations in line with capacity, material availability, and shop‑floor constraints.
Convert planned demand into production orders in ERP (SAP) and release them as per agreed production timelines.
Ensure sequencing and prioritization of orders to meet delivery commitments and optimize resource utilization.
Prepare material forecasts based on confirmed orders, rolling demand, and production schedules.
Drive MRP‑based planning for raw materials, bought‑out parts, and kit items to ensure uninterrupted production.
Proactively manage long‑lead and critical materials through close coordination with SCM and Purchasing.
Optimize raw material, WIP, and kit inventory to balance availability and working capital.
Monitor planned vs. actual material consumption and recommend corrective actions.
Support ABC / criticality analysis and inventory reduction initiatives without impacting service levels.
Coordinate closely with Production, Order Handling, Purchasing, Quality, and Engineering for effective execution of schedules.
Identify and resolve planning‑related constraints such as material shortages, capacity bottlenecks, and priority changes.
Act as the primary planning interface for IKC material flow and production execution.
Track and report key scheduling and material KPIs such as schedule adherence, material availability, and inventory health.
Support ITM / Lean / Continuous Improvement initiatives to improve scheduling accuracy, material flow, and execution discipline
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:
Experience: 6–8 years of relevant experience in production, production scheduling, material planning, or factory planning roles within a manufacturing environment.
Hands‑on experience in material forecasting, MRP planning, production order conversion, and inventory optimization.
Exposure to engineered‑to‑order and/or kit‑based manufacturing environments preferred.
Strong working knowledge of SAP (MRP, Production Orders, BOM, Routing).
Good analytical capability with proficiency in Excel‑based planning and reporting tools.
Strong coordination, problem‑solving, and execution mindset.
High schedule adherence with minimal production disruptions.
Improved material availability and reduced expediting.
Optimized inventory levels for IKC operations.
Strong cross‑functional collaboration and disciplined execution.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
