MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE



  • Manage SJM and ARDX Legal entity tax compliance, litigation, tax reporting enabling the organization to meet its tax obligations and objectives.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Regular tax compliance : Tax audit, tax computation, tax return and overall compliance activity including TDS, Advance tax installment working, tax refunds, etc.
  • Transfer Pricing : TP filing, Segment P&L, TP subvention, Master File, TP assessments and litigation
  • Tax litigation : Regular assessments, Appellate proceedings, rectifications, appeal effect, collation of details for assessment and appeal purposes.
  • Year-end activities : March year-end current tax and deferred tax working, Contingent tax liability, RPP analysis
  • Corporate reporting : Litigation reporting, Sept-Soft close and Dec-Hard close corporate reporting activities including current tax and deferred tax etc.
  • Annual activities : Lower tax Deduction Certificate, March year-end cut-over activities for TDS and TCS compliance, MSME payments
  • Analyze and interpret tax laws and regulations, to understand how they impact the organization’s operations.
  • Coordination with auditors, tax consultants, external tax agencies and tax authorities.

QUALIFICATIONS




Education



  • Commer graduate and Chartered Accountant

Experience/Background



  • Minimum 5 years
