• Expected will analyze complex business requirements within the Global Custody/Sub-Custody domain, providing tailored, scalable technical solutions. This role requires a blend of deep domain knowledge in Asset Servicing/Settlements and technical expertise in SQL and data mapping to bridge business needs with technical delivery.
Strategy
• Collaborate with stakeholders (Portfolio Managers, Operations) to define requirements, creating Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Specification Documents (FSD).
Business
• Map business processes to technical applications, designing system workflows for trade settlements, cash management, and corporate actions.
Processes
• Perform data mapping and validation, using complex SQL queries to ensure integrity in tax lots, positions, and cash positions. Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), troubleshoot system issues, and provide technical support to business users. Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and developers to ensure on-time project delivery.
People & Talent
• Deep understanding of Global/Sub-Custody, Asset Servicing, Trade Settlement, Corporate Action Processing, and Cash Management. Strong SQL skills (basic to intermediate) for data validation. Experience with Custody platforms (e.g., TCS BaNCS, Swift, Vermeg, or proprietary banking platforms). Proven experience writing BRDs, FSDs, and user stories.
