Title              :        Manager – Production  

Department:       Operations

Location      :        Jhagadia

Reports To :         Factory Manager

Overview

This position is responsible for planning and execution of production as per Supply Chain requirement with maximum efficiency and least cost along with EHS & QMS compliance

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for implementing efficient production plans to meet supply
• Responsible to production as per SOP and quality standards
• Responsible for conducting root cause analysis and identifying the issues and fixing them from recurring
• Responsible to conduct training on the operating processes to Supervisors and workers, always ensuring 5S and EHS compliance.
• Responsible for proper use of MRP, closing the orders on time
• Responsible to ensure MTS product socking levels is ensured at all times
• Proper accounting of all RM/PM/IM received from stores and handover of finished goods  to ensure avoidance / pilferage of goods and wastages
• Responsible for weekly planning of RM and PM as per forecast and coordinate with stores and buyers for execution
• Responsible to strictly follow IMS and procedure as per ISO 9001 and 14001.
• Responsible to monitor productivity in Production , take measures to reduce waste
• Responsible to identify and implement Operational excellence ideas in the factory

Qualifications/Experience:

• BE or BTech in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. Additional degree or diploma in material planning and Safety is an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 15 Years of experience in Paint or Chemical construction industry.
• Experience/ Technical capabilities related to handling of Mixers, Dissolvers, HSD, Packing Machine, chiller, compressor, basic engineering ,  know how and liquid Formulation process.
