Job Title:

Manager, Product Operations

Overview:

Overview
Mastercard Economic Intelligence is looking for a Manager, Product Operations to help scale how our Product organization operates as we grow. This leader will ensure our products are delivered on time and with high quality to our clients, while making improvements to maximize efficiency, consistency, and return on investment. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end framework—including systems, workflows, timelines, and deliverables—required to ensure our products consistently drive value for our clients. You will also help cross-functional teams operate with clarity, discipline, and shared visibility across the product lifecycle.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building the operating system behind great product teams—creating the structure, tools, and processes to fully own the product operations from start-to-finish, free up product managers to focus on go-to-market and strategic efforts, and enable the organization to scale without compromising on quality or timeliness of delivering expected results to clients.
Roles
• Own and evolve core product processes including planning, data publishing, client communications, and content product and delivery across our suite of products
• Manage client access, contact information, and provisioning across our systems and platforms to ensure accuracy and continuity across disparate sources
• Drive adoption, integration, and process improvements that reduce operational friction for product teams, including use of tools and best practices to achieve efficiency
• Act as a connective layer and establish consistent operating rhythms across Product, Engineering, AI & Data Science, the Mastercard Economics Institute, and customer-facing teams
• Develop systems to capture and harness product usage data, customer feedback, and operational signals into clear insights for product leadership
• Coordinate timelines and activities (content development, data quality assurance, asset management, platform hygiene) across multiple teams to ensure on-time and high-quality delivery of content and data
• Partner with product managers to assess their products’ operations and provide input into strategic decisions such as expanding or deprecating certain features or deliverables, informing product strategy
• Clarify and document product operations processes and clearly communicate expectations across teams to ensure successful and smooth delivery on set timelines
• Proactive identify and mitigate risks and bottlenecks in the delivery pipeline before they impact the client experience, considering both the short-term and long-term
• Act as the first and primary point of contact for content and data issues, triaging and escalating as needed
About you
• Organized, ambitious self-starter who can work autonomously in ambiguous circumstances with a high sense of ownership and responsibility
• Experience building or scaling product operations and/or building scalable processes in fast-growing environments
• Strong orientation to simplify, clarify, and document processes and operations
• Proven ability to translate complex ideas into clear action and build alignment across cross-functional teams via collaboration and a low-ego leadership style
• Ability to communicate ideas with purpose, clarity, and authenticity
• Analytical mindset with experience working with product metrics, customer feedback, and/or operational data
• Ability to learn and adapt to new tools easily and efficiently
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, scrum, and kanban and tools such as Jira, Confluence, Tableau (or other BI tools), and Salesforce (or other CRMs)
