Manager - Techno Functional Role: Individual Contributor


Provide techno-functional support for PeopleSoft applications (FSCM), assisting global stakeholders with issues related to key financial modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Allocations, Billing and Accounts Receivable.


What this Job involve?


Responsibilities:-


  • Address and resolve end-user issues in PeopleSoft FSCM modules focusing on Procure to Pay  and Source to Pay processes.


  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues within the ERP system environment and support finance end users.


  • Facilitate collaboration between IT development teams and Finance stakeholders to design, configure, and implement PeopleSoft solutions supporting P2P Process.


  • Manage requirements gathering sessions with Process Owners, document functional specifications, coordinate technical development activities, and oversee testing and deployment of enhancements.


  • Develop and modify PeopleSoft SQL queries in response to finance requests and requirements in PeopleSoft.


  • Documenting processes, configurations, and solutions for future reference and provide knowledge sharing sessions to Finance Operations.


  • Identify, Propose, and implement process improvements to enhance system efficiency and user experience.


  • Writing and reviewing detailed test scripts for Unit, System, Integration, and User Acceptance Test Phases.


  • Facilitate application enhancement initiatives by conducting comprehensive functional and regression testing prior to production migration.


  • Analyze business needs, evaluate system capabilities, and propose optimal solutions that balance functionality with technical feasibility.


  • Serve as the point of contact for new user requirements and enhancement requests from Finance stakeholders


  • Support global Gen AI initiatives from financial system standpoint.

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Accounting / IT / Engineering with an experience range of 10-12 years.


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in application support/testing of Oracle PeopleSoft Financials preferably in P2P/S2P module.


  • Functional experience with PeopleSoft Billing, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Asset Management PS version 9.2 and above with understanding of underlying technical architecture.


  • Understanding of financial accounting principles and chart of Accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.


  • Proven experience coordinating cross-functional projects involving both technical developers and finance process owners.


  • Deep understanding of Procure-To-Pay Life cycle and configurations from PeopleSoft Standpoint.


  • Excellent communication skills to translate complex technical concepts for business users and articulate business needs to technical teams.


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues effectively.


  • Curiosity to deeply understand the "why" behind business requirements, proactively exploring system capabilities and identifying innovative solutions.


  • Willingness to self-learn and continuously expand knowledge of PeopleSoft functionality, accounting processes, and emerging financial technologies.
