About this Role
We are seeking a qualified finance professional to take end-to-end ownership of statutory financial reporting, controls, and compliance for allocated international legal entities. This role offers exposure across enterprise finance operations, statutory reporting, and transformation initiatives, requiring close collaboration with business stakeholders, tax, treasury, auditors, and Group Finance to ensure accurate, compliant, and insightful financial outcomes.


What you will do

Take full accountability for statutory financial reporting, controls, and compliance for assigned international legal entities
Develop a detailed understanding of entity business models, strategies, products, and related accounting and disclosure requirements
Review monthly legal entity results, ensuring income statement and balance sheet drivers are clearly understood and evidenced through management accounts
Produce statutory accounts and supporting working papers with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness
Ensure effective operation of financial controls in line with Vodafone policies and procedures
Deliver local finance and tax compliance obligations accurately and on time
Partner with Enterprise Finance, Tax, Treasury, and Business teams to resolve complex accounting and reporting matters
Act as the single point of contact for the legal entity, coordinating issue resolution across multiple teams
Support finance transformation initiatives by executing change plans aligned to the Vodafone Finance Operating Model
Configure and manage ONESOURCE statutory templates, ensuring alignment with local legal requirements and validation by subject matter experts
Identify and drive opportunities to standardise and simplify statutory reporting processes

Who you are

A qualified accountant with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience
Strong knowledge of IFRS and statutory reporting requirements
Experienced in preparing statutory accounts and managing external audit processes
Confident in interpreting accounting standards and applying them to complex scenarios
Skilled in stakeholder engagement, communication, and cross-functional collaboration
Comfortable working in a shared services or matrix environment
Experienced in finance transformation or change initiatives
Familiarity with ONESOURCE or similar statutory reporting tools is an advantage
