Job Summary


We are looking for experienced and detail-oriented Designers with specialization in Non-Denim Menswear and Womenswear categories. The role requires strong product development expertise, technical understanding, and the ability to work closely with global customers to deliver commercially viable products with execution excellence.
 


Key Responsibilities


  • Own end-to-end product development for assigned menswear or womenswear categories.
  • Work directly with US-based customers and manage day-to-day communication effectively.
  • Develop designs, tech packs, garment specifications, and support the development process from sampling to production.
  • Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams across geographies to ensure timely execution and delivery.
  • Apply strong knowledge of garment construction, fit, fabrics, washes, and technical detailing.
  • Ensure adherence to customer expectations, quality standards, and development timelines.
  • Drive problem-solving and execution independently while managing multiple developments simultaneously.
     

Skills & Qualifications


  • Specialization in Non-Denim Menswear or Non-Denim Womenswear categories is mandatory.
  • Strong product development experience with a practical and commercial mindset.
  • Proficiency in tech pack creation and PLM tools.
  • Good sketching ability and clear design communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction and technical product details.
  • Ability to work independently with strong ownership and accountability.
  • Excellent communication and customer management skills.

Preferred Experience


  • Prior experience working with global apparel brands such as Levi Strauss & Co. or similar international customers will be an added advantage.
  • Exposure to handling customer-facing development roles in a fast-paced apparel environment.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office; experience with Browzwear or other 3D design software is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of technical construction, garment fitting, and lingerie-specific design considerations.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines, working independently while also collaborating effectively with the regional office team in India.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong sense of aesthetics and quality, with knowledge of global lingerie market trends and consumer preferences.
