1. Act as the primary day‑to‑day contact for external auditors, coordinating information flow between ME finance, tax, controllership, and other functions.
2. Proactively prepare entities for audits, including pre‑audit checks, balance sheet and P&L analytics, and identification of potential issues prior to audit commencement.
3. Prepare and maintain audit‑ready schedules (balance sheet substantiation, P&L analysis, roll‑forwards, breakdowns, and supporting documentation).
4. Track, follow up, and manage audit requests (PBCs), open items, and outstanding documentation to closure.
5. Support preparation of audit reports, management letters, and summaries of findings, including drafting responses to control deficiencies and audit observations. Track and follow up on open audit issues and outstanding documentation.

Key Areas (Audit Support)

• Act as a key audit support resource by preparing audit‑ready workings, reconciliations, schedules, and supporting packs, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and consistency with underlying financial records.
• Coordinate closely with onshore Middle East finance and audit teams to support statutory audits, interim reviews, and auditor walkthroughs, ensuring timely responses and smooth audit execution.
• Ensure timely provision of audit evidence: invoices, contracts, bank statements, GL extracts, sub-ledger reports, and management representations.
• Track statutory compliance calendar, due dates and documentation; maintain audit and tax trackers for open items and closures.
• Assist in drafting responses to auditor/tax authority queries, including root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.

• CA or MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution.

  
  
• Minimum 10 years of experience, with significant exposure to external/statutory audits, preferably in a multinational or professional services environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting, financial statements, and audit processes.
• Hands‑on experience working in an offshoring/outsourcing model, supporting multiple geographies.
• Proven ability to manage auditors, tight timelines, and high‑volume information requests.
