Preventive Maintenance

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime.
• Conduct regular inspections and tests on machinery to ensure optimal performance.

2. Troubleshooting and Repair

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in equipment and machinery.
• Perform repairs and replacements of defective components to restore functionality.

3. Documentation and Reporting

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.

Prepare reports on equipment performance and maintenance costs for management review.

4. Safety Compliance

• Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols to protect personnel and equipment.

5. Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with other engineers, technicians, and production staff to coordinate maintenance activities.
• Communicate effectively with management regarding maintenance needs and equipment status.

6. Continuous Improvement

• Analyze maintenance processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Implement new technologies or methodologies to enhance maintenance efficiency.

7. Inventory Management

• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure that necessary components are available for repairs.
• Order and procure materials and tools required for maintenance tasks.

8. Training and Development

• Train junior maintenance staff and technicians on best practices and safety procedures.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies through continuous education.

9. Project Management

• Oversee maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance tasks.

Main Accountabilities

Hands on troubleshooting experience in CNC and PLC Machines.

• Familiarity with CNC machine components, including controllers, motors, drives, and sensors.
• Mechanical Problems: Issues like misalignment, wear and tear, or broken parts. Solutions involve realignment, lubrication, or replacement of components.
• Electrical Problems: Faulty wiring, blown fuses, or power supply issues. Solutions include checking connections, replacing fuses, and ensuring stable power supply.
• Software Errors: Incorrect programming or software glitches. Solutions involve debugging code, updating software, or reprogramming.

• Troubleshooting and components knowledge on Pneumatic system.
• PLC Programming: Familiarity with programming and troubleshooting PLCs using languages like Ladder Logic.

TPM & Lean practical knowledge.

• Excellent knowledge of TPM and practical developed knowledge.
• Excellent knowledge of Lean and practical developed knowledge.

Knowledge of CMMS, Power BI, Excel, Presentation Skill.

• Candidate should have experience in CMMS, Power BI report development.
• Excellent knowledge of ppt preparation and presentation skill.

First Preference to candidates who worked in Lens manufacturing industries.

• Good knowledge Optech Machines, Schneider Optics, A&R Machines. Optimal Coating Machines, Buhler AR Coating Machines.

• Diploma/BE Electrical and Electronics:

Experience: 7 to 8Years experience in Lens Industries, manufacturing &Automotive Industry
