Are you ready to grow your legal career in an international environment?
We are looking for a proactive and business-oriented Legal Counsel to join our global legal team, with the position based in Pune. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an international environment, supporting a wide range of commercial matters, across regions and contribute to the development of legal frameworks that enable business growth.


As Legal Counsel, you will provide high-quality, pragmatic legal advice while working closely with colleagues across our global organization. Your primary focus will be supporting our EMEA business segments, advising on commercial agreements and a variety of legal matters at both local and global levels. You will engage with a wide range of stakeholders and contribute to cross-functional and global legal initiatives.


Your role:


  • Draft and review a broad range of commercial contracts, including confidentiality agreements, T&C’s, distributor and agency agreements, supply and purchase contracts etc.
  • Support the development and maintenance of contract templates, policies, and legal processes to ensure consistency and efficiency across the organization.
  • Provide business-oriented legal advice on a variety of contractual and other topics, helping stakeholders make informed decisions while managing legal risks.
  • Collaborate on and contribute to global and regional legal projects.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders across functions and regions, acting as a trusted legal partner to the business.

What we’re looking for:


  • Qualified lawyer with approximately 3–5 years of relevant experience, gained in a law firm or an in‑house legal function, with a clear focus on international commercial contracting.
  • Exposure to international and matrix‑based environments, ideally within EMEA; experience supporting stakeholders across borders.
  • Solid experience in drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, including standard agreements (e.g. NDAs, standard terms and conditions, supply, purchase and distributor agreements); familiarity with international contracting frameworks is an advantage.
  • Experience with or familiarity with contracts governed by English law (England & Wales) is a strong advantage.
  • Strong legal problem‑solving skills and understanding of core legal principles and the ability to apply them in a practical, business‑oriented and risk‑aligned manner. 
  • Comfortable working independently while also contributing as part of a global legal team, taking ownership and driving matters to completion.
  • Self‑motivated, curious and eager to learn, with an interest in developing within an international legal community and working with standardized templates, playbooks and digital tools.
  • University degree in Law; background in international law, international studies or studies abroad is an advantage.
