We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Learning Practitioner - Investment Banking.



In this role, you will:



  • The core responsibility of this role will be to assess and cater to the training needs of employees across all business areas within Market Security Services Operations globally, including Asset Services, Custody, and other key product lines.
  • The purpose of this role is to establish the framework, curriculum, and learning paths necessary to develop subject matter expertise among employees in their respective areas. Business training will cover capital markets products, risk, regulations, high-level functional and systems knowledge, as well as a comprehensive front-to-back understanding of Market Security Services Operations.
  • Serve as the primary business training practitioner for all assigned business areas within Market Security Services Operations, with overall responsibility for development initiatives. Key stakeholders include Functional Heads, Vice Presidents, and members of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
  • Analyze business requirements, evaluate training needs and target audiences, build or source solutions, and plan and execute appropriate learning interventions. Speed of delivery and effectiveness in addressing business challenges will be key performance indicators.
  • Design, develop, and implement business-specific learning curricula as agreed and signed off by senior business stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you will:



  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Market Security Services (MSS) Operations preferably in Investment banking business across geographies and customer segments, including Asset Services, Custody, and other relevant product lines. Must have experience working in a similar role within the Financial Services industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in problem diagnosis, performance consulting, needs-based curriculum design, programme planning, third-party supplier sourcing and vendor management, programme delivery, and evaluation.
  • Facilitate, support, and conduct training sessions as required on defined products, functions, services, systems, and any other training within the remit of Business Training
  • Ability to effectively engage participants in virtual learning environments. Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate compelling messages verbally, in presentations, and in writing. Strong stakeholder management experience
  • Experience in developing and leveraging innovative training and learning channels such as micro-learning, gamification, social media, eLearning, and other digital platforms
