We are seeking a talented individual to join our Training (Insurance Operations) team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The Learning and Development Specialist will support the Learning & Development team in delivering training programs and materials that enhance colleague skills and knowledge enterprise-wide.
This role will assist with course design, virtual training delivery, and administrative support for learning systems. The Learning and Development Specialist will work closely with Senior Learning and Development Specialists and other stakeholders to ensure training programs meet business needs and compliance standards.
We will count on you to:
Systems Training
Assist Senior Learning and Development Specialists with the instructional design and development of system and procedure training materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led courses (virtual hybrid and in-person), blended learning programs and other materials.
Deliver virtual training sessions and assist with face-to-face workshops as required
Create, maintain and update training content on the Marsh Training Hub on SharePoint, Degreed pathways, and Workday, and Articulate Storyline as required
Collaborate with HR and L&D teams to align training with regional and enterprise frameworks and priorities
Onboarding Experience
Support the coordination and development of detailed onboarding plans and induction timelines with Australian and New Zealand managers for India roles directly supporting Australia and NZ teams.
Work with managers to design and update employee and manager onboarding checklists
Support onboarding activities, including developing induction schedules and facilitating sessions
Work with onshore managers to:
Resolve onboarding challenges, including IT access and training material availability
Ensure consistent adherence to onboarding schedules and team cadence, supporting smooth integration of teams
Ensure continuous improvement of the onboarding process informed by data and stakeholder feedback.
Technical Training
Collate feedback from Australian Managers on training needs
Work with Senior Learning and Development Specialist on Tier 1 Accreditation administration, including activities such as token allocation, enrolment queries or new requirements
Work with centralised teams on the design of training content as it relates to Marsh Risk
Provide administrative support for exam supervision and accreditation processes
Technical and Systems and Induction Training
Manage Workday Learning Management System administration tasks, including but not limited to mass enrolments, course setup, reporting and updating course content.
Assist Senior Learning and Development Specialists with the collation of content for marketing teams as required for award submissions and the like
Run headcount reports in agreement with course owner.
Conduct regular CPD reporting and tracking mandatory course completions
Run regular new starter reports and allocate mandatory courses within Workday for new starters
Work with Senior Learning and Development Specialists on initiatives relating to Marsh McLennan University
Assist to develop process maps linked to training procedures
What you need to have:
Graduate with minimum 5 years’ experience in learning and development or training support roles
Experience delivering virtual training and supporting Learning Management System administration
Knowledge of insurance industry training preferred
Strong instructional design and facilitation skills
Familiarity with Workday Learning Management System and Microsoft Office suite
Proficient in virtual training platforms (MS Teams, Zoom)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively
Should be comfortable with 6.30am – 3.30pm shift
Eligibility Criteria:
Minimum 12 months experience as Senior Specialist/Lead Specialist/Deputy Manager
Should have at least “On Track” or equivalent rating in last appraisal
Should not be under any Performance Continuity Plan, or had any official Disciplinary action within the last 3 months.
Should not have applied for any other IJP within MCIPL in the last 3 months
