P3 – Lead Software Engineer (Full Stack) Role Overview

Trimble is seeking a Lead Software Engineer (P3) to support the FedRAMP initiative. This role is a hands-on technical lead position focused on delivering secure, compliant, and high-quality software under tight timelines. You will lead feature-level execution, guide implementation best practices, and work closely with QA, Security, and Product teams to ensure FedRAMP readiness.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead design and development of full-stack web features using C#, ASP.NET Core, Angular, and SQL Server.


  • Implement and enforce secure coding practices aligned with FedRAMP requirements.


  • Own technical execution for assigned epics and ensure on-time delivery.


  • Collaborate closely with QA and Security teams to remediate vulnerabilities and compliance findings.


  • Participate in architecture and design discussions, providing practical implementation guidance.


  • Conduct code reviews and mentor engineers on security, performance, and maintainability.


  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation, and deployment readiness.


  • Support troubleshooting, defect resolution, and production stability.
     


Key Result Areas


  • Timely delivery of secure, FedRAMP-aligned features.


  • Reduced security findings through proactive remediation.


  • High-quality code with minimal rework.


  • Effective technical guidance to the development team.
     


Required Skills


  • Strong hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, Angular, SQL Server.


  • Solid understanding of web application security and secure development practices.


  • Experience with AWS and Azure skillset.


  • Experience with enterprise-scale systems and complex business workflows.


  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.


  • Agile/Scrum experience.


  • Strong communication and technical mentoring skills.
     


Experience


  • 6–9 years of software development experience.


  • Prior experience in a lead or senior engineer role.


  • Experience in compliance-driven environments (FedRAMP, SOC2, ISO, etc.) is a strong plus.
