We are looking for a Lead RAMS Engineer You’ll make a difference by: The Senior RAMS Engineer should be able to establish the system requirements with regard to reliability (R), availability (A), maintainability (M) and safety (S) using the customer requirements and the country-specific legal basis as well as the standards to be applied Perform RAM & Safety analysis [hazard Analysis], manage Hazard Log, review Design, V&V activities. Apply the safety assurance methodologies (risk acceptance criteria, safety analysis, verification, and validation) defined for the product (derived from Standards CENELEC/IEEE etc.). Putting together RAM arguments and Reliability Cases to gain railway authority approval Putting together safety arguments and safety cases to gain railway authority approval Generate and Verify the Safety activities using the following methodologies in the Domain of Software: Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA, SEEA) Fault Tree Analysis Critical Code reviews (CCR) Safety Case/Safety report and Hazard Log To understand the risk issues associated with the work and the company’s policy on engineering safety To keep up to date with risk assessment and risk management issues through continuing professional development Effectively communicate relevant information on risk issues to those who need to know (e.g. managers, project leaders, health, safety and environment engineers and colleagues) Delivering within scope, on time and on budget. Utilizing safety process in accordance with Siemens & Industry standards and best practices Ensures that RAMS requirements are met. Review safety issues and support root cause identification and mitigation measures Defend Safety Case argumentations in front of (ISA) assessors; define and follow-up action plans to close the findings of the assessor Your success is grounded in: 9+ years of experience is required.
