Your future role


Take on a new challenge and apply your manufacturing and process engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.


You'll play a key role in shaping and optimizing manufacturing processes that contribute to the delivery of sustainable and efficient mobility solutions. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Product Design Engineers, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Industrial Quality, and Tooling Engineers), define and implement manufacturing processes, and much more.


You’ll specifically take care of designing macro-processes and preparing the introduction of new technologies, but also validating product design and industrialization through comprehensive testing and documentation.


We’ll look to you for:


  • Gathering and communicating industrial requirements to Engineering during product specification and design phases.


  • Actively participating in product design using co-engineering methodologies.


  • Designing and optimizing manufacturing processes, including workstation layouts and line balancing while adhering to ergonomic and EHS standards.


  • Developing industrial documentation, such as industrial data sheets and Industrial Maturity Follow-Up (IMFU).


  • Performing Process FMEA and validating prototypes, processes, and designs through FAR and FAI.


  • Supporting production teams to achieve manufacturing QCD targets and industrializing retrofits after engineering changes.


  • Collaborating with the Industrial Costing Manager during tender phases and contributing to R&D programs as an industrial representative.


  • Conducting industrial feedback (REX) on manufacturing processes for continuous improvement.

  • Manufacturing or Manufacturing Engineering background with 10+ years of experience, preferably in the railway industry.


  • Technical experience in process engineering, writing manufacturing work instructions, line balancing, and Lean Manufacturing principles.


  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP for Bill of Materials, Routings, and Configuration follow-up.


  • Knowledge of Quality, EHS standards, and Ergonomics.


  • Proficiency with CAD and PLM tools (e.g., CATIA, DELMIA) and familiarity with IS common tools.


  • Understanding of Process FMEA and QRQC methodologies.


  • Strong communication skills, self-motivation, and a logical, organized approach to work.
