Lead IT QA Analyst, Assurant, GCC-India



The QA Lead is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance activities within the organization, ensuring that software meets the highest standards of quality and reliability. This role involves leading a team of QA engineers, developing testing strategies, and collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless product releases.




This position will be in Hyderabad at our India location.



Work Timings: 3:30 PM IST ~ 12:30 AM IST.




What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?



  • Lead, mentor, and guide a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and excellence (20%)
  • Design and develop comprehensive test plans, test cases to ensure thorough coverage of features (10%)
  • Coordinate and execute manual and automated testing efforts, including functional, regression and performance testing (15%)
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software (15%)
  • Monitor the key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives (10%)
  • Provides QA oversight and guidance to QA team members to ensure project milestones are met and that QA activities are handled in accordance with project standards (20%)
  • Continuously improve quality processes and standards (10%)

What are the requirements needed for this position?



  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on leading QA teams
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar)
  • Proven track record of developing and executing test strategies for complex projects
  • Experience in managing QA projects and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodology
  • Proficiency in mobile or web application testing
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Nice to have - salesforce testing experience
