Role Description As part of our exciting growth journey, we’re expanding our Digital Engineering team and are on the lookout for a talented Lead Front End Engineer to join us on a hybrid basis at our Hyderabad office.

You’ll be at the forefront of building modern, scalable software from the ground up, helping shape the future of fan engagement across global sport.

We’re looking for a collaborative engineer who’s eager to learn, grow, and continuously improve, both personally and as part of a high-performing team.
You care about writing clean, maintainable code and are excited to contribute to building best-in-class products that push the boundaries of what’s possible in sport.
Key Responsibilities Hands on responsibilities in the development and support of new and existing digital products for our clients.
Creation and influence of architectural diagrams and technical specifications for multi-platform product strategies.
Working alongside project teams to understand requirements and provide technical expertise and leadership on appropriate solutions.
Setting up software development frameworks for release management, automation, code quality and source control.
Collaboration with product leads, consultants, designers and developers to deliver high-quality solutions across web, mobile apps and OTT.
Technical authoring and supporting business development opportunities.
Providing technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to other Two Circles development resources.
Keeping up to date on emerging technologies and trends in sports technology.
10+ years' experience in software development.
Expert in modern front-end engineering, with deep proficiency in React and Next.
js, including SSR/SSG, performance optimisation, accessibility, and scalable component architecture.
Brings working knowledge across the broader stack, including APIs, backend integration, cloud infrastructure, and security best practices.
Strong experience building API-driven and service-oriented applications, with a solid understanding of RESTful design, GraphQL, and modern web protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, WebSockets).
Comfortable collaborating with backend teams and shaping frontend-backend contracts.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Azure, including deploying and optimising frontend applications using services such as CDN (CloudFront/Azure Front Door), serverless (Lambda/Azure Functions), storage, and edge computing.
Familiarity with authentication/authorization patterns (OAuth, JWT, Azure AD, Cognito).
Well-versed in modern DevOps and frontend delivery practices, including CI/CD pipelines (e.
g. GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps), observability (e.
g. Datadog, Grafana, Azure Application Insights), performance monitoring, security, and networking fundamentals.
Advocates for automation, testing, and high-quality release processes.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, and directly with clients.
Strong experience with cloud computing platforms and services, such as Azure, GCP and AWS.
Exposure across core digital technologies including CMS, CRM, VMS, data warehouse & middleware systems is an advantage.
Experience working with clear timeframes and can manage complex technical tasks while also maintaining high quality output.
A passion for technology, strong problem-solving skills with a flair for finding innovative solutions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment.
Experience in providing seniority within teams of developers and providing technical guidance and mentorship where necessary.
A keen interest in sport or the sports business and real interest in the positive effects we have on our client’s businesses.
