JOB PURPOSE: The Lead DevOps Engineer will drive the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise DevOps capabilities across cloud platforms. This role is responsible for leading DevOps strategy and execution with strong expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Artifactory, Cloud Operations, and Security, while partnering with engineering teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills to influence technical direction and operational excellence.



What you will do: As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will lead the adoption of DevOps best practices, cloud platform engineering, and secure operational processes to enable high-performing software delivery teams.



  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of DevOps platforms and delivery pipelines across AWS-based environments.
  • Drive Kubernetes platform adoption, container orchestration standards, and deployment best practices for scalable and resilient applications.
  • Establish and manage artifact repository standards and lifecycle practices using Artifactory to support secure and efficient software delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership to engineering teams on CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, observability, release automation, and environment reliability.
  • Partner with Cloud Operations and Security teams to strengthen platform governance, operational readiness, access controls, compliance, and incident response practices.
  • Mentor engineers, influence architecture decisions, and promote engineering excellence through strong leadership and collaboration.
  • Communicate clearly with developers, product teams, and leadership to align technical solutions with business priorities and operational goals.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, mentor teams, influence stakeholders, and drive cross-functional alignment.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts clearly to both engineering and leadership audiences.
  • DevOps, Cloud Operations, and Security: Deep knowledge of DevOps practices, cloud operations, platform security, automation, and operational governance in enterprise environments.

Top Candidates will have:



  • 10+ years of experience in AWS, DevOps, and cloud platform engineering
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container platform operations
  • Experience with Artifactory and software artifact management best practices
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Cloud Operations and Security, including governance, reliability, and compliance practices
  • Experience leading enterprise-scale platform modernization and operational transformation initiatives is a plus
