Job Family:

IT Project Management (India)

Travel Required:

Up to 10%

Clearance Required:

None

What You Will Do:

As a Lead Business Analyst within the HCM Portfolio, you will support the delivery of enterprise technology solutions by translating operational needs into clear, actionable functional requirements. You will be embedded within technical delivery teams throughout the solution lifecycle, partnering closely with business and technology stakeholders to ensure solutions are well-defined, aligned to business objectives, and delivered effectively.

In this role, you will work across a range of initiatives at varying levels of maturity, whether that’s helping shape requirements from initial concepts or refining and operationalizing existing inputs into delivery-ready requirements. You will serve as a key bridge between operational stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clarity, feasibility, and alignment as solutions evolve. You will also support the HCM Portfolio Lead by helping maintain visibility into work in flight, dependencies, and roadmap considerations across the portfolio.

  • Translate business needs and operational challenges into delivery ready functional requirements, success criteria, and validation scenarios that enable effective technical execution.
  • Elicit, analyze, and validate business and functional requirements for enterprise technology solutions.
  • Partner closely with technical leads and developers to ensure requirements are feasible, prioritized, and clearly understood.
  • Lead backlog refinement and requirements readiness activities, partnering closely with IT and Project Leadership (as applicable) to ensure alignment with delivery priorities, scope, and delivery standards.
  • Support solutions with evolving or partially defined scope, translating direction into actionable requirements as decisions mature.
  • Conduct current state process assessments to understand operational needs and constraints.
  • Document current and future state workflows, business rules, and functional requirements.
  • Assist with defining success metrics, KPIs, and operational measures for delivered solutions.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT), including validation of delivered functionality.
  • Track and report on adoption, outcomes, and operational impact as needed.
  • Facilitate and support stakeholder workshops and working sessions—preparing materials, guiding discussions where appropriate, and driving clarity, alignment, and follow through.
  • Ensure documentation and solution delivery align with enterprise governance, compliance, and risk standards.

What You Will Need:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting business process analysis and requirements elicitation.
  • Strong documentation skills, including process flows, functional specifications, and business rules.
  • Experience working within a structured technology delivery model, partnering closely with engineering and delivery leads to translate requirements into iterative, executable outcomes.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous or evolving problem spaces.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross functionally with enterprise stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
  • Hands-on experience engaging directly with technical solutions and delivery tools, with the ability to assess logic, data outputs, configurations, or integrations at a functional level to validate proposed approaches.

What Would Be Nice to Have:

  • Experience supporting enterprise technology platforms, including HR adjacent or operational systems.
  • Familiarity with automation, integrations, or data driven solutions
  • Experience in consulting or large, matrixed organizations.
  • Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and requirements sessions.
  • Experience with AI assisted tools and intelligent systems, including the ability to engage as a power user to evaluate outputs, surface issues, and inform requirements.
  • Exposure to agile project management and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
  • Certifications in Business Analysis, Agile, or Project Management (e.g., PMI PBA, PMI ACP, CSM).
