Your key responsibilities


AI Delivery & Execution Excellence


  • Build an AI platform that is foundational to the consumption of LLMs within the company
  • Build a scalable yet agile architecture that can adopt to changing AI landscape
  • Fine Tuning and Eval as integral part of execution cycle
  • Own end-to-end delivery of large, cross-functional programs with accountability for timelines, quality, cost, and risk.
  • Drive predictable delivery using Agile and hybrid delivery models, focusing on outcomes over process.
  • Anticipate delivery risks early and ensure timely mitigation.
  • Define and track delivery and engineering health metrics (flow, predictability, stability, and business impact).

Engineering Landscape & Technology Oversight


  • Partner effectively with architects and senior engineers to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and operable.
  • Ensure adherence to engineering standards, governance, and best practices.

Agile & Operating Model Leadership


  • Champion Agile principles with a delivery-first mindset, avoiding unnecessary ceremony.
  • Align teams on planning, dependency management, and execution across portfolios.
  • Drive continuous improvement using data, retrospectives, and delivery insights.
  • Lead multiple tribes deliveries.

Stakeholder & Executive Management


  • Act as the primary interface between business, product, engineering, risk, and operations stakeholders.
  • Communicate delivery status, risks, and trade-offs in a clear, executive-ready manner.
  • Build trust through transparency, consistency, and dependable execution.

AI & Intelligent Enablement


  • Identify practical opportunities to use AI/GenAI and automation to improve engineering productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure responsible AI adoption aligned with governance, security, and risk frameworks.
  • Support teams in embedding AI-assisted tooling into delivery and decision-making processes.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g., code assistants, test generation, documentation, analytics).
  • Understanding of AI system lifecycle: data readiness, model training vs. consumption, deployment, monitoring, and drift.
  • Awareness of responsible AI principles, including data privacy, bias, explainability, security, and regulatory considerations.
  • Experience partnering with data science, AI engineering, and platform teams to deliver AI enabled outcomes.
  • Exposure to enterprise GenAI platforms, LLM-based tools, or intelligent automation initiatives.
  • Ability to guide teams on pragmatic adoption of GenAI without disrupting delivery or increasing operational risk.

People & Culture


  • Lead and develop engineering managers and delivery leaders, fostering accountability and ownership.
  • Create a culture focused on execution excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Your skills and experience


  • 18+ years of experience in technology delivery and leadership, with significant time at Director or equivalent level.
  • Strong understanding of modern engineering ecosystems (cloud, distributed systems, DevOps, data platforms).
  • Proven success delivering large-scale, multi-team initiatives.
  • Deep experience operating in Agile enterprise environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder, executive communication, and influence skills.
  • Deep working knowledge of AI/ML with active experience in model performance optimization techniques, eval frameworks and GenAI applications, and governance considerations.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
