Overview:


As a Localization Engineer – PC, you’ll ensure global readiness of PC products by enabling seamless localization workflows, technical integration, and automation.


Responsibilities


  • Prepare, analyze, and process files for translation across PC titles.
  • Build and maintain scripts/tools to automate localization workflows.
  • Collaborate with linguists, PMs, and developers to integrate localized assets.
  • Troubleshoot encoding, formatting, and file conversion issues.
  • Validate localized builds and ensure proper implementation.
  • Maintain documentation for tools, workflows, and processes.

Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • 2–4+ years in localization engineering, or related technical role.
  • Knowledge of localization workflows and formats (JSON, XML, CSV).
  • Familiarity with scripting (Python)
  • Experience with Linux bash terminal
  • Knowledge in pipeline automation
  • Familiarity with Git or version control tools.
