Key User (KU) Inventory - S/4HANA

Roles & Responsibilities :

S4 Inventory Expert: Act as functional expert for SAP Inventory management processes in S/4HANA
Data analysis: Validate asset accounting configurations including depreciation areas, asset classes, and account determination
Scrapping, scrapping at supplier, sales intercompany, sales 3rd parties, transfer, inventory differences, Adjust field status groups for depreciation and acquisition accounts pertaining to Asset Master data
Compliance: Ensure compliance with GST requirements i.e Input/output tax linkage with inventory Stock transfers (IGST vs CGST/SGST)
Domestic vs Import inventory valuation, Customs duty capitalization, Audit requirements such as Stock reconciliation, Ageing & provisioning.
Process development: Document all process activities and support benchmarking to ensure process standardization.
Support & keep informed on Localization gaps vs global template,Ind AS / Companies Act inventory disclosures
Training: Conduct end user training, revise existing DTP's from R3 to S4 and set-up training material to impart know-how to B2P organization on S4 accounting & reporting topics.

Educational qualification:

Cost Accountant / MBA Finance / B. Com (preferred for MM exposure)
SAP exposure in S/4HANA MM / Sourcing & Procurement / Inventory Management

Experience : Min 3 years of professional experience in the relevant field, Integration with FI (GL, Material Ledger, account determination), Experience in Inventory valuation, Stock accounting & reconciliation.

Mandatory/requires Skills :
Understanding of financial close processes in Inventory Management (GR/IR, STO's, physical inventory) Material Valuation (Standard vs Moving Average Price), Material Ledger & Actual Costing and Account Determination (Automatic vs manual postings), Proficient knowledge of Inventory valuation, classes, material consumptions, Parallel valuation (L.GAAP vs IFRS), Prior experience in data migration of inventory balances, Material Master data within SAP
Proficient communication skills, Proficient analytical, problem solving and time management skills, Proficient understanding of Inventory master data, Integration with CO (cost centers, profit centers)
