We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer



In this role, you will: 



  • Develop and maintain software products in the Core Banking technology stack.
  • Provide support across the end-to-end delivery and run lifecycle. Carry out software development, testing and operational support activities with the ability to move between the technology stacks.
  • Actively participate in the Engineering Discipline and associated communities.
  • Keep up to date and have expertise on current tools, technologies and areas like cyber security and regulations pertaining to aspects like data privacy, consent, data residency. 

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:



  • 2.5 to 5 years’ experience on engineering and delivering software products.
  •  Basic hands on experience on i-series, RPGLE, CLLE, SQLRPGLE, SQL, ILE Concepts, DB2/400, APIs, SQL Stored procedures and Functions.
  • Develop and maintain backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot. Design and build secure, scalable REST APIs with strong coding and debugging practices.
  • Work with GCP services (e.g., GKE, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, Compute Engine) for cloud-native deployments.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for build, test, and release automation.
  • Deploy, scale, and monitor containerized applications using Kubernetes.Build event-driven solutions using event brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Google Pub/Sub.
  • Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and product teams in Agile sprints to deliver high-quality releases.
