Job description

12 of the top 15 pharma generic companies in the world trust Leucine to manufacture the drugs that reach millions of patients every day.
Pharma manufacturing is one of the last large industries still running on paper, Excel, and tribal knowledge.
A single missed step in a batch record can mean a recall, a regulatory warning, or a drug that should never have left the plant.
Leucine is the AI platform replacing all of it.
Series A, backed by top-tier global investors, 60+ pharma enterprises in production, and the team that's going to define this category.
About the Role We are looking for an Integration Engineering Intern to join our platform team.
You will work directly with customer-facing integration projects — understanding customer data schemas, configuring integrations with our applications, and helping maintain our Reify (edge/IoT) and SAP integration pipelines.
This is a hands-on role where you will work with production systems used by real pharmaceutical manufacturers, mentored by senior engineers.
Key Responsibilities Analyze and document customer database schemas and data models, and map them to Leucine application data structures.
Configure and test integrations between customer systems and Leucine applications.
Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting Reify (edge platform) integrations, including data extraction and transformation logic.
Support SAP integration workflows — monitoring interfaces, investigating data flow issues, and assisting with configuration changes.
Write and debug JavaScript-based transformation/extraction scripts used in integration pipelines.
Write SQL queries (PostgreSQL) for data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
Document integration setups, runbooks, and customer-specific configurations.
Collaborate with the engineering team and occasionally interface with customer technical teams.
Be part of a fast-growing SaaS company transforming the future of pharmaceutical manufacturing through cutting-edge technology Collaborate with a passionate, high-performing team building innovative AI-powered digital solutions Take ownership of impactful client implementations from day one, with ample opportunities for learning, career growth, and professional development Enjoy a competitive compensation package designed to reward your contributions Complimentary Meals & Refreshments: Stay energized with unlimited breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner provided at the office Required Skills JavaScript (primary) Solid fundamentals — data structures, async patterns, JSON manipulation, and ability to write clean transformation/scripting logic.
SQL — PostgreSQL Comfortable writing joins, aggregations, and analytical queries; understanding of schemas, keys, and constraints Understanding of REST APIs and data formats (JSON, XML, CSV) Strong analytical and debugging mindset — comfortable digging into unfamiliar data to figure out how it is structured Good written communication for documenting schemas and configurations Maintaining and scaling edge service Nice to Have Exposure to Java Spring boot Familiarity with Linux command line, Docker, or Git Awareness of message queues / event streaming (e.
g., Kafka) or ETL/data pipeline concepts Any exposure to ERP systems (SAP) or manufacturing/industrial software Interest in regulated industries (pharma, GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11) — no prior knowledge required; we will teach you Who Should Apply Final-year students or recent graduates in Computer Science, IT, or a related field Candidates who enjoy working with data and systems rather than only building UIs Self-starters who can take a loosely defined problem ("figure out how this customer's data maps to ours") and drive it to a documented solution
