Your team:

This role is part of our infrastructure services team -- they are responsible for virtualisation, storage & backup systems.


Your role in the Team's Success:

Oversee and support virtualisation, storage, and backup systems. Act as the escalation point for critical incidents and troubleshoot complex problems.


What you'll do:

Maintain infrastructure by regularly updating to the latest software versions. Monitor vulnerabilities closely and implement timely patching and firmware upgrades. Adopt a proactive approach to minimise incidents and issues.


What you'll need for this role:

Key Qualification Requirements:


  • 10+ years' experience across virtualisation, backup & storage.
  • Experience of mid- to large enterprise environments with 1000's of servers.
  • Knowledge of Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI
  • Deploy and manage Nutanix HCI clusters (AOS, AHV, Prism Central/Element).
  • Perform upgrades, patching, migrations, and lifecycle management (LCM).
  • Good general infrastructure knowledge, including networking.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across compute, storage, networking, and virtualisation layers.
  • Automate tasks using PowerShell, Python, Terraform or Ansible.
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and SOPs.
  • Act as an escalation point for critical production issues
  • Demonstrates a proactive approach coupled with an ongoing curiosity for continuous improvement.
