Job Overview
As the Information Security Architect, you will be an enterprise and technical security architect responsible for helping Vontier and Operating Companies perform security architecture assessment and security consultancy. You will bring enterprise business security architecture principles and best practices to the operating companies' community through collaboration on raising awareness on advanced cyber-threats and integrating Vontier business driven values. As a member of the Information Security Architecture team, you will contribute to the development and execution of the enterprise-wide Information Security Architecture strategy and ensuring the strategy is fully aligned to deliver a secure transactional environment that provides business value. This role will also play a key part in supporting IT cloud teams in building a secure cloud infrastructure and platform. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Information Security Architecture.·Drive security architecture engagements with IT projects (cloud and on prem) by collaborating with project teams. The main responsibilities are - providing security architecture consultancy, review, risk assessment, tracking and reporting


·Help develop/improve the security minimum requirements for architecture review


·Help develop/improve the security architecture review artifact template and processes


·Content development / Knowledge Base development for security architecture review


·Remediation tracking and reporting / KPI Reporting


·Perform Security Gap Assessments in the different security domains


·Security Architecture Review artifacts repository maintenance


·Perform consultancy activities like researching and analysis for emergent cyber threats or Security capabilities


·Develop/improve and implement “high-value asset” (HVA) program to identify key technology infrastructure and business applications


·Collaborate with operating companies on cross-functional projects and present solution options/recommendations to stakeholder that enable full transparency to business leaders


·Build successful stakeholder relationships with other IT and business teams by developing a clear understanding of business needs, acting as a trusted advisor, and ensuring cost-effective delivery of Information Security services to meet those needs


·Execute other security architecture related tasks assigned by the manager

·At a minimum 5 years of experience in Information Security


·At a minimum 2 years of experience in Network Security, Endpoint Security, Data Security, Cloud Security, Application Security, Security Testing and/or similar area of security


·At least one or more of cloud vendor certifications: AWS Security Specialty, Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect, and/or Google Cloud Security Engineer


·CISSP, CISM, SABSA, TOGAF or other related Information Security certifications


·Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent work experience


·Good understanding of security vulnerabilities and their mitigations


·Good understanding of security frameworks like NIST and ISO27001


·Strong communication skills with all levels of an organization


·Some experience with enterprise security architecture and working as part of cross-functional team to implement technology and security solutions


·Willing to travel, approximately 20% domestically and internationally
