The opportunity
 



Our unit in Vadodara is looking for a HVDC service factory support Specialist to join our factory team within the After Sales & Service. You'll be part of a high-spirited team, collaborating with colleagues across the organization. In this role, you will handle HVDC factory support in major repair at HVDC Transformers in India, including technical and commercial scope defining responsibilities. This position will enhance your technical competence and contribute to the transition towards greener energy solutions.




How you’ll make an impact



  • Managing HVDC site repair, mainly wherever factory support is required to site team in major repair coordinating form factory skilled manpower, critical materials required for special site works where you will be the main point of contact for the customer, internal as well as external end customers.



  • Handling a wide range of tasks in the projects such as condition assessment, life cycle studies, overhaling, fault investigations, coordination of site activities and customer relationship.



  • Manage and solve upcoming quality issues for your assigned projects together with engineering team, suppliers, and customer.



  • Understanding the HVDC site complaint/customer requirement, preparing & finalizing the solution, defining the scope for factory support, procedures etc.



  • You will be part of the team from the beginning to end of the problem & its solution to customer.



  • Deliver according to customer expectations within budget and expected quality.



  • Maintaining all records of jobs/tasks, prompt services to all customers till its closure etc by coordinating with all concern functions.



  • Handling contracts terms & conditions, legal aspects, SAP/Ariba required tasks, customer first approach etc.



  • Techno-commercials matters to be handled with versatile approach.



  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background



  • Degree in Engineering or other equivalent work experience of 5-10 years.



  • Strong HSE, quality and integrity mindset.



  • You are organized, structured, and collaborative as a person.



  • Have a strong ability to prioritize and take responsibility for your deliveries.



  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal is required, other language such as Swedish, Spanish, or German are considered added value.



  • Previous experience in Transformer service and/or from the Energy Sector is considered added value.
