Job Description

HR Operations Associate


Responsible for managing end‑to‑end payroll operations across HRIS and payroll systems, ensuring accurate data integrity, statutory compliance, and timely employee support, while driving process improvements, audits, and reporting for teams of up to 3,000 employees across global regions


Responsibilities


  • You’ll prepare and issue employment contracts, compensation letters, and payroll documentation, ensuring compliance with offer terms, statutory requirements, and internal policies.
  • You’ll act as the first point of contact for payroll and HR queries, resolving issues on pay discrepancies, tax calculations, deductions, benefits, and statutory compliance.
  • You’ll manage accurate and timely payroll master data across HRIS and payroll systems, monitoring changes such as salary revisions, promotions, incentives, and deductions.
  • You’ll oversee joiner, mover, and leaver payroll activities—including final settlements, gratuity/leave encashments, statutory filings—and maintain SOPs aligned with labor laws, tax regulations, and audit standards.
  • You’ll support audits, compliance reviews, and payroll projects (system migrations, automation, vendor coordination), while delivering precise payroll reporting, reconciliations, and statutory submissions for teams of up to 3,000 employees or complex global regions.

Qualifications

Requirements


  • You have 2 years of proven experience managing payroll operations for mid‑size teams (up to 3,000 employees) or complex global regions.
  • You are proficient in HRIS and payroll systems, with strong skills in data integrity, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • You demonstrate deep knowledge of statutory compliance, labor laws, tax regulations, and audit standards.
  • You excel in handling end‑to‑end payroll activities, including contracts, compensation letters, joiner/mover/leaver processes, and final settlements.
  • You bring strong stakeholder management skills, acting as the first point of contact for payroll queries while driving process improvements, automation, and vendor coordination.
