Job Title: HR Generalist – Payroll & Compliance Job Summary We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to manage end-to-end HR operations, with a strong focus on payroll processing and statutory compliance.
The role involves ensuring accurate salary disbursement, maintaining compliance with labor laws, and supporting overall HR functions.
Key Responsibilities 1.
Payroll Management Process monthly payroll accurately and on time Maintain employee salary records, attendance, leaves, and deductions Handle reimbursements, bonuses, incentives, and final settlements (F&F) Coordinate with finance for payroll inputs and reports 2.
Statutory Compliance Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements Manage PF, ESI, PT, TDS filings and returns Maintain statutory registers and records Handle audits and inspections related to compliance 3.
HR Operations Manage employee lifecycle (onboarding to exit) Maintain employee database and HRMS systems Draft HR letters (offer, appointment, confirmation, etc.
) Handle employee queries related to payroll and HR policies 4.
Attendance & Leave Management Monitor attendance and leave records Implement leave policies and track balances Resolve discrepancies in attendance data 5.
Employee Relations Address employee concerns and grievances Ensure smooth communication between employees and management Preferred Skills Knowledge of Indian labor laws Experience in audit handling Advanced Excel skills Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field 2–5 years of experience in HR generalist role Strong knowledge of payroll processing and labor laws Familiarity with statutory compliance (PF, ESI, TDS, etc.
