What you'll do


  • Safety First:Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.


  • Prepare base rubber and fabric materials accurately for hose assembly, ensuring quality and consistency.  


  • Operate semi-automatic hose building machines to wind, knurl, cut, and finish hoses according to specifications.  


  • Perform hydro testing and basic quality checks to ensure hoses meet safety and performance standards.  


  • Follow and promote safety norms aligned with Weir Group EHS and WMI IMS policies, actively participating in safety trainings and events.  


  • Manage material handling efficiently and maintain a clean, organized workspace to support smooth manufacturing flow.  


What you'll bring


  • ITI Fitter qualification  


  • Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing industries, preferably in hose building operations   


  • Proficiency in operating hose building semi-auto machines and material handling  


  • Ability to read technical drawings and basic knowledge of quality standards  


  • Strong safety awareness and commitment to workplace safety  


  • Basic computer skills for material handling and reporting  


  • Good communication skills including reading and writing  


  • Time management and self-improvement mindset
