The Home Lending Pricing Finance Analyst/ Associate (Correspondent) supports mortgage pricing analytics and performance reporting for the Correspondent channel. This role helps maintain key datasets and dashboards, monitors pricing and volume trends, and prepares clear analysis to support pricing decisions and business reviews.
As an HL Correspondent Pricing Associate within Home Lending, you support mortgage pricing analytics, performance reporting, and profitability insights for the Correspondent channel. You monitor rate sheets, market spreads, competitor actions, and secondary market execution to assess relative pricing position and explain how rate volatility affects borrower affordability and demand. You help develop and recommend primary and secondary mortgage pricing by translating changes in funding costs, hedge performance, pipeline fallout, and market conditions into clear pricing actions. You support price changes, promotions, and exception frameworks with sound economic rationale and assist with daily and weekly monitoring of market movements and their impact on Correspondent pricing and margins. You prepare pricing-related materials—including tables, charts, and commentary—for internal discussions, reviews, and decision-making forums. You build and maintain product and channel profitability models that incorporate revenue, funding, hedging, credit costs, servicing value, and operational expenses to evaluate trade-offs between volume, pull-through, margin, and risk. You quantify financial impacts such as NPV and IRR where relevant and produce, interpret, and explain pricing P&L results on a regular cadence. You run sensitivity analyses to estimate the impact of rate changes, incentives, execution assumptions, and mix shifts, and you generate recurring reporting on key Correspondent metrics such as lock volume, pull-through, profitability indicators, and mix trends. You investigate variances versus prior periods or plan, summarizing key promoters in a clear and concise way while following established processes for updating datasets, documenting assumptions, and ensuring outputs are audit-ready. You maintain KPI and definition documentation to keep reporting consistent and partner closely with Pricing, Capital Markets, Risk, Operations, FDO, and Sales/Client teams to respond to requests, prepare meeting materials, and communicate status, risks, and dependencies..
