RF Engineer (m/f/d) – Local Coils for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) We are looking for a motivated RF Engineer to strengthen our global Local Coil development organization. In this role, you will contribute to the sustaining, verification, and continuous improvement of local RF coils used in Magnetic Resonance (MR) systems, ensuring high quality, compliance, and performance throughout the product lifecycle. Your Responsibilities Take ownership of sustaining activities for local RF coils within MR systems, including verification and validation. Manage and execute change requests, from analysis through implementation. Perform complaint handling and root cause / failure analysis. Plan and execute verification and validation of design changes. Implement design changes driven by regulatory requirements (e.g. RoHS compliance), component obsolescence, or general electrical improvements. Develop and test printed circuit boards (PCBs) within a modular ("Baukasten") development environment. Support and optimize production, including localization activities. Apply agile development methods and collaborate closely with colleagues in the global Local Coil team to plan and deliver required tasks. Work in close cooperation with Product Owners and technical experts across functions. Ensure achievement of project targets related to schedule, cost, and quality within your area of responsibility. Be willing to travel initially on a short‑term business travel basis to Germany and China. Your Qualifications and Experience Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a focus on RF / high‑frequency engineering. Ideally, initial experience in the MRI environment, preferably in the development of hardware or software components and their interfaces. Solid knowledge of electromagnetic fields (E/M fields), EMC, and mechanical aspects relevant to electronic systems. Knowledge of MR physics and first hands‑on experience operating an MR scanner are considered a plus. Structured, analytical working style combined with strong teamwork and communication skills in an international environment.
