As a HW Electrical Design Engineer (TCI) at Aptiv, you will design, develop, and validate automotive electronic hardware products across the full development lifecycle. You will work on power supply, microcontroller‑based, and mixed‑signal hardware designs, ensuring robust, reliable, and production‑ready solutions that meet customer, safety, and quality standards.
· 5–7 years of hands‑on experience as an Embedded Electrical / Electronics Engineer in automotive hardware development
· B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Electronics & Communication, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering
· Strong experience in automotive power supply design (LDOs, DC‑DC converters, linear and switching regulators)
· Solid expertise in analog and digital circuit design using discrete components and ICs
· Experience designing microcontroller / SoC‑based hardware and associated interfaces
· Practical exposure to lab validation, hardware bring‑up, debug, and use of test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and multimeters
· Design and develop automotive electrical hardware including power supply, MCU/SoC‑based, and mixed‑signal circuits
· Review customer requirements and perform worst‑case analysis, simulations, and design verification activities
· Create and maintain schematics, support PCB layout, and participate in design and technical reviews
· Develop and maintain electrical DFMEA and support prototype builds and hardware bring‑up
· Execute product validation, testing, EMC support activities, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams through production release
