The Business Intelligence Governance & Portfolio Alignment Lead is responsible for establishing and operating governance processes that ensure Business Intelligence (BI) work is clearly defined, appropriately prioritized, and aligned to the right capabilities, skill sets, and delivery resources.



This role partners closely with Business Intelligence Demand, Product, Delivery, and Support leaders to drive enterprise‑level intake discipline, performance measurement, and resource alignment, ensuring the Global BI organization consistently delivers high‑value outcomes with transparency, predictability, and accountability.




What You Will Do:



  • Responsibility for Business Intelligence governance and portfolio alignment frameworks supporting enterprise BI delivery across GBS+ and corporate domains
  • Own and continuously improve the BI intake and governance process, ensuring work entering the portfolio is clearly defined, assessed, and aligned to enterprise priorities
  • Establish and maintain enterprise BI performance metrics, including portfolio health, delivery predictability, throughput, capacity utilization, and value realization
  • Drive resource alignment and calibration across Global BI teams, ensuring initiatives are staffed with the appropriate capabilities, skill sets, and capacity
  • Partner with Demand leaders to validate fit between project scope, delivery approach, and available skills, identifying risks, gaps, and escalation needs early
  • Provide transparency into team capacity, constraints, and delivery tradeoffs to support portfolio‑level prioritization and sequencing decisions
  • Enable and support governance forums (e.g., intake reviews, portfolio checkpoints, steering discussions) to drive alignment, accountability, and informed decision‑making
  • Partner with BI leaders to identify systemic delivery or performance issues and recommend governance, process, or operating model improvements
  • Ensure governance processes are pragmatic, scalable, and outcome‑focused, minimizing administrative burden while improving delivery effectiveness
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to BI and business leadership on portfolio performance, resourcing health, and delivery risks

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 10 years of professional experience
  • Proven experience in portfolio governance, PMO, intake management, or enterprise analytics operations
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information for leadership audiences

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience working within enterprise or federated analytics organizations
  • Experience supporting or partnering with PMO, portfolio management, or shared services functions
  • Strong understanding of workforce planning, resource calibration, and capacity management
  • Ability to influence without authority across matrixed teams
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
