Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a GoLang Developer to join our API Platform team. This role is designed for individuals with foundational experience in backend development using GoLang and exposure to frontend frameworks like React.js or Next.js. The successful candidate will contribute to building and maintaining scalable API services, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions, and supporting the organization’s innovation efforts.
Software Requirements
Required Software Proficiency:
React.js or Next.js — experience in creating responsive frontend components and UI development
GoLang (Golang) — practical experience or project exposure in backend development (1-2 projects)
RESTful APIs — understanding of designing and consuming APIs
Basic knowledge of databases (SQL or NoSQL) — fundamental understanding of backend data management
Version control: Git — experience in managing code and collaborate within teams
Preferred Software Skills:
Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) — familiarity with cloud deployment and integrations
Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) — experience with deploying applications in containers
API management tools or microservice architecture — familiarity is a plus
Overall Responsibilities
Develop user interface components using React.js or Next.js that are efficient and maintainable
Build and improve backend services and APIs using GoLang, ensuring performance and scalability
Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver integrated solutions
Participate in code reviews, adhere to coding standards, and follow best practices
Troubleshoot technical issues, optimize performance, and ensure responsiveness of applications
Assist in documentation of system architecture, APIs, and implementation details
Support continuous learning of new frontend and backend technologies and tools to enhance team skills

Essential: GoLang, JavaScript (React.js or Next.js) — hands-on experience and understanding of core concepts
Preferred: TypeScript, HTML, CSS for frontend development

Basic knowledge of SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL databases
Cloud Technologies:
Familiarity with cloud deployment using AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred
Frameworks and Libraries:

3 to 6 years of experience in software development, with exposure to backend development using GoLang

Alternative experience includes academic projects, open-source contributions, or internship work in GoLang or React.js
