We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering Specialist.



In this role, you will:



    • Manage delivery of multiple mandatory, BAU, and platform optimisation initiatives, ensuring timely and cost-effective outcomes.
    • Provide critical front-office support for Summit users (Rates/FX/BSM and Mortgage desks) across Asian trading hours.
    • Maintain service health for Summit, including ownership of daily EOD batch operations for Asia/Europe/Americas running in Asia time.
    • Act as Summit SME to resolve high-severity production incidents and support trade compression bulk activities.
    • Support change requests and bug fixes for Asia/Europe users, ensuring smooth adoption and minimal disruption.
    • Ensure end-to-end STP from PTS to Golden Eye and downstream payment/accounting/settlement systems, plus continuous live risk availability.
    • Operate follow-the-sun handovers (Hong Kong to Europe), leading under pressure with strong prioritisation and attention to detail.
    • Align to department OKRs with consistent tracking, and deliver MI, analytics, and reporting.

To be successful, you will:  



    • Strong Summit expertise (architecture, production support, infrastructure) with a focus on tooling, automation, and platform stability.
    • Confident leader able to manage demanding Front-to-Back stakeholders, motivate teams, and resolve conflicts decisively.
    • Solid command of project management methods, tools, and delivery techniques across application/programme/project levels.
    • Proven ability to drive decisions to closure in a matrix organisation through strong influencing and clear governance.
    • Experienced in major incident management, coordinating effectively with Incident Management and the Global Command Centre.
    • Skilled at sequencing work, managing dependencies/interdependencies, and ensuring plans are owned, viable, and executed end-to-end.
    • Proactive problem-solver who identifies issues early, builds practical remediation plans, and ensures delivery under pressure.
