JOB TITLE: Manager - Global Payroll
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
·The payroll manager will lead the team providing payroll calculation, reconciliation, accounting, settlement and control for the company entities worldwide
·Delivering payroll services to the company employees worldwide
·Oversee an accurate and reliable payroll service
·Actively manage the relationship with external payroll providers
·Lead and supervise the in-house payroll team.
·Drive for continuous improvement in payroll and provide and manage the measurement and compliance processes on payroll performance
·Provide expertise and experience to the ongoing initiative to standardize the provision of payroll services globally
·Manage audit level checking for all payroll functions to ensure legislative and company compliance
·Liaise with colleagues in Finance and Accounting function to provide a robust and audited payroll
·Actively participate and lead payroll-related projects - Manage system changes and upgrades
·Provide advice and assistance to staff and management on pay-related issues
·The position is responsible for payroll coordination/ Processing and compliance assurance such as tax reporting, benefits management, payroll systems maintenance
·In addition, the position also responsible to maintain payroll – related accounts and will be responsible for the reconciliation and accuracy of accounts within the accounting system of the organization.
·Operating in a job cost accounting environment, a key responsibility includes the administration of the organization’s cost distribution to specific business units, projects and activities.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
·Bachelors level university degree, preferably in a business or HR related discipline
·Ten years of payroll and HR experience in a global/multi-national organization (4,000+ employees), preferably with last three years in a payroll supervisory or project management role.
·Experience working with and managing relationship with third party payroll service providers.
·An awareness of the typical regulatory requirements in major markets, such as the United States, United Kingdom and Brazil. Some experience working in those markets is highly preferred.
·Experience with HRMS and payroll related software.
·Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Powerpoint.
·Appropriate Professional HR / Payroll / Accounting professional qualifications
·High level of integrity, sound judgement and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
·Able to assimilate and summarize critical, detailed information at a high level and utilize this information to understand and improve payroll performance.
·Able to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment with changing deadlines.
·Able to manage critical path projects and effectively collaborate as needed with other employees/functions.
·Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills. Need to be comfortable dealing with employees at all levels of the company.
·Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) and a positive customer service orientation
