What You'll Do



Join our Data Platform Engineering, a global platform team driving BCG’s transformation into a data-driven, AI-enabled enterprise. Our team builds and operates the foundational infrastructure, cloud platforms, and DevSecOps capabilities that power enterprise data products and analytics across Case Teams, Practice Areas, and Business Systems.



As Infrastructure Engineering & DevSecOps Manager, you will lead the design, modernization, and operational excellence of our cloud-based data infrastructure. You will shape scalable, secure, and reusable platform services that accelerate data product development and enable AI innovation across the firm.



This role combines platform architecture leadership, hands-on cloud engineering expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver enterprise-grade infrastructure at scale.




Responsibilities include:



Drive an overall vision, roadmap, and priorities for data infrastructure engineering services within our Data a Service framework



  • Design Infrastructure Strategy & Solution Architecture
  • Define and execute the roadmap for cloud infrastructure and DevSecOps capabilities within our Data-as-a-Service framework.
  • Design and evolve a unified, multi-cloud data platform architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Partner with Security, IT portfolios, and Data Platform squads to ensure infrastructure policies, controls, and standards align with enterprise objectives.
  • Drive platform standardization, reuse, and automation across environments.

DevSecOps & Cloud Engineering



  • Modernize infrastructure services using infrastructure-as-code and automation best practices.
  • Implement scalable CI/CD pipelines, secure identity and access management, and infrastructure monitoring capabilities.
  • Enable platform teams through reusable modules, automation frameworks, and self-service capabilities.
  • Establish metrics and operational KPIs to continuously improve reliability, cost efficiency, and deployment velocity.
  • Security, Compliance & Governance Enablement
  • Ensure infrastructure enforces enterprise security, compliance, and data governance standards.
  • Partner with Data Governance teams to support data quality, classification, and lifecycle management through technical controls.

Financial & Vendor Management



  • Partner on cloud financial operations (FinOps), optimizing cost efficiency across environments.
  • Manage relationships with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and key platform vendors.
  • Coordinate work across geographically distributed teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience managing direct/indirect resources across disperse teams

What You'll Bring



  • 5–8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps/DevSecOps, or data platform engineering roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience in multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Expertise in infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks (e.g., Python).
  • Experience with identity and access management platforms (e.g., Okta) and enterprise security best practices.
  • Deep Understanding data platform concepts including data warehousing, data modeling, and data quality.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) and ITIL a plus.

  • BCG Global Consulting Practice Areas (Functional & Industry) and Enterprise Data teams: the Data Product Portfolio, Data Governance CoE, Master Data Mgmt., Enterprise Data Modelling, and Data Product development teams
  • BCG IT Leadership: Heads of IT, Consulting / Practice Areas, Knowledge Function, and Enterprise Services among other business functions.
  • Data Platform Engineering Team – Collaborating closely with data engineers, lead enterprise architects, data stewards, data product analysts, and QA engineers to develop, maintain, and enhance BCG’s data products and infrastructure.
