An Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate should have 1–2 years of experience in Oxford Nanopore sequencing, Sanger sequencing, gene synthesis, and oligo manufacturing. They should also have experience in interpreting sequencing results and providing actionable insights and feedback.
Key Competencies:
Responsibilities:
· Scientific expertise in bioinformatics, biology, and chemistry. The ideal candidate would have experience in Oxford Nanopore sequencing, Sanger sequencing, gene synthesis, and oligo manufacturing.
· Experience interpreting sequencing results and providing useful feedback.
· Handle all customer communication including phone calls, chats, and emails
· Serve as a trusted customer advisor by creating long-term relationships with accounts, ensuring ongoing engagement.
· Respond to scientific inquiry and provide technical data and support.
· Experience designing primers for gene synthesis.
· Provide custom quoting and consultation for new and existing customers.
· Log, track, and follow-up on tickets related to customer issues.
· Be proficient with all internal information systems such as CRM, LIMS, and order management tools.
· Enter orders for key customers using internal tools.
· Represent customer’s voice within our organization
· Handle all suggestions and complaints with intent to continually improve our level of service and customer experience
· Learn basic troubleshooting measures for most frequently used product applications
· Share our product portfolio and pricing options with customers to maximize cross-selling opportunities and customer benefits
· Recognize opportunity for and initiate change
· Support field sales representatives with customer opportunities
· Improve customer retention through value-added services, incentives, and proactive communication
· Create a superior customer experience with every customer, every time
