We’re seeking someone to join our CDRR Technology team as a Java + Angular, in Non-Financial Risk Technology to Threat Hunt and Cyber Detection team in Metrics and Governance to create and manage cyber data tooling, become a point of contact for cyber data related requests on behalf of the organization, and coordinate with subject matter experts to assist in protecting the Firm from nation state actors and other cyber criminals.

What you’ll do in the role:


  • We are looking for a strong UI (Angular) developer to join the RIM team and help deliver key initiatives.


  • The applicant should be a solid programmer, with strong design and implementation fundamentals.


  • Prior experience in finance or legal operations will be useful - however the ability and willingness to quickly master new technical and business concepts is equally important.


  • The applicant will be working with an energetic team of highly intellectual and creative developers who work on cutting edge projects using a variety of different technologies.


What you’ll bring to the role:


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Web Design, or related field required


  • At least 5+ years of hands-on web design experience with significant Angular experience.


  • Strong knowledge of CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and web design principles


  • An understanding of core web application design patterns, such as Model View Controller and Single-Page Web Applications


  • Strong design and interpretations skills, including the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient and effective user interfaces.


  • Experience developing Wireframes, Storyboards, and Mockups, and working with UX teams to build


  • Experience with unit testing and automated testing frameworks such as Playwright, Cucumber


  • Established technical knowledge in software development life cycle and agile methodologies.


  • Experience developing Single Page Web applications. Should be able to write optimized, efficient, and clean code.


  • Strong Object-Oriented Programming and Design Pattern concepts with practical experience leveraging the same during development.


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Candidates should be able to design and implement solutions.


  • Strong oral and written communication skills.


  • Candidate is expected to work with global teams


  • Ability to manage productive resolution of conflicting opinions


Skill Desired:


  • Any experience of Web Development with Java SpringBoot REST services


  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration, Automated Testing, and modern Web Design patterns and best practices


  • RDBMS knowledge, PostgreSQL


  • Experience with Jenkins, CI, Sonar and any test automation tools like Cucumber or Playwright


  • A strong understanding of Agile/Scrum and ability to deliver solutions using TDD, BDD


  • Knowledge of Autosys, Unix commands and scripting


  • Knowledge of Financial Services
