Cisco Isovalent is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team working on the full stack web and on-premise applications. This critical role involves spearheading the integration of Cisco Isovalent's solutions with various platforms and technologies, enabling seamless deployment and operation for our customers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in software engineering, coupled with exceptional leadership skills, strong experience both deploying software on cloud platforms, directly and via their marketplaces.

Your Impact:

• Grow and mentor software engineers and technical leaders

  
  
  

• Deliver continuous feedback and performance review of engineers, with input from technical leader and senior leadership

  
  
  

• Structure and track progress on projects and ensure accountability for them

  
  
  

• Preserve the engineering culture as we scale out the team

  
  
  

• Being a role model of company culture and values

  
  
  

• Manage and coordinate India and EU team members, as well as coordinated with the global management team.

  
  
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• 9+ years of experience in Software Engineering

  
  
  

• Experience in management or leadership roles

  
  
  

• Experience in Javascript/Typescript, alongside experience in React, Angular, or other similar technology

  
  
  

• Experienced developing using backend languages such as Go, Ruby on Rails, or nodeJs

  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with networking, network security, cloud engineering

  
  
  

• Experience of interacting and working with customers

  
  
  

• Experience managing independent, strong, and diverse teams

  
  
  

• Strong understanding of customer value
