Front End Developer Lead Location: Bangalore (Hybrid) Experience Required: 8+ Years Department: Technology / Digital Commerce Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: 2 PM – 11 PM About the Role As a Frontend Developer Lead, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the architecture of scalable, secure, and high-performance eCommerce storefronts.
You will work closely with product managers, business stakeholders, designers, backend engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver seamless and engaging digital customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities  Define and maintain the frontend architecture for enterprise-grade eCommerce platforms built with React, Next.
js, or other modern frameworks.
 Lead the technical evaluation and implementation of eCommerce platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Commercetools, SAP Commerce, or similar.
 Collaborate with backend teams to design and build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices integrations (ERP, CMS, OMS, Payment Gateways).
 Manage and mentor frontend teams, fostering collaboration and driving coding excellence, performance optimization, and accessibility standards.
 Engage with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, QA Engineers, and Business Stakeholders to translate business goals into digital solutions.
 Enforce security best practices and performance tuning for production-grade web applications.
 Ensure solutions are modular, maintainable, and scalable across multiple geographies and brands.
Required Skills & Qualifications  8–10 years of experience in frontend development with at least 3+ years in architectural or lead roles.
 Hands-on experience with React.
js, Next.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, and modern build pipelines (Webpack, Vite, etc.
).  Deep understanding of eCommerce business workflows, shopping carts, product catalogs, checkout flows, promotions, and customer accounts.
 Proven track record in implementing or integrating with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Commercetools, or other headless commerce platforms.
 Strong knowledge of API development and consumption, including RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
 Experience working in agile environments and collaborating across cross-functional teams.
 Solid understanding of CI/CD, DevOps practices, Cloud hosting (AWS/GCP/Azure), and Monitoring/Alerting for frontend applications.
 Passion for performance tuning, accessibility, responsive design, and UX best practices.
 Familiarity with JAMstack architectures and edge delivery/CDN strategies (e.
g., Alokai, Vercel, Netlify).
 Exposure to CMS integrations like Builder.

 Understanding of SEO, analytics tagging, and A/B testing frameworks.
